ABOUT KEVIN O. CALLAHAN
Kevin is the principal of Callahan Law Firm LLC. He started the firm in 2006 after practicing for a small boutique firm, a large downtown Denver firm and a mid-sized general practice firm. Kevin's desire is to bring the approachability of the boutique firm together with the depth and expertise of a large firm experience to give his clients the best of both worlds.
Kevin earned his juris doctorate at Regent University School of Law in Virginia. Regent is recognized as a leader in the areas of nonprofit law and taxation. His B.A. is from Evangel College in Missouri. In 1994, between his degrees, Kevin studied literature briefly at Queens' College, Cambridge University.
Kevin is a contributing author to Colorado Nonprofits: Business and Tax Answers, Exempt Organizations and Charitable Activities in Colorado, Understanding Your Options: Comparing LLCs & LLPs in Colorado, and Family Limited Partnerships in Colorado published by National Business Institute. He also frequently teaches other lawyers and accountants in these areas.
Kevin is licensed to practice in Colorado, the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Tax Court, Federal Courts in the District of Colorado and the Tenth Circuit, and before the Internal Revenue Service.
Kevin was born in St. Louis, Missouri and is married to the lovely Siobhan. They have three beautiful daughters. Kevin and his family are active in Grace Community Church and Sovereign Grace Ministries, One.org, youth soccer, various musical groups and are fans of the St. Louis Cardinals, Colorado Rapids, U.S. Soccer and Manchester United. Kevin and his family travel to Ireland as frequently as possible.
